WILL KNUFF

Will Knuff came to Elk Point in 1937 and worked for Bob Dale in the creamery for a year. He was a valued employee of both the hospital and town for many years.
A true friend of many young people in our town, he was always willing to give rides to the children on the back of his wagon if they were 'good'. The little ones could only ride to the end of a block but as they got older and more responsible they could go further. By the time they were in school they could ride to the edge of town.
Many children remember 'Will' as he was so good to them - patient when they were slow, and careful when they were 'riding with him.
