May 21/24 - Dr. Miller, J.E. Pond, Mrs. Miller and three children drove down by auto the first of the week. Mrs. Miller and the children visiting at her mother's Mrs. Emerson south of town for a few days.
July 2O/24 - Dr. Miller, Dr. Hoss and Geo. and Wm Bartling motored from Elk Point last Wednesday on very muddy roads to play Vermilion Golfers for the McWilliams and Dawson Cup. They didn't win but the Elk Point golfers announced their intention of trying for the cup again on Wednesday Aug. 13.
Sept. 10/24 - G.J. Algot of Angle Lake, wife and their four children are leaving by International high speed trucks ( 47 H.P.) this Thursday for Portland Oregon. Mr. Algot has been 23 years in Alberta having spent 7 of these at Red Deer and the rest at Angle Lake. The family expect to return in a year.
