Mr. and Mrs Marshall Jaremco of Whitehorse, Yukon, are celebrating their first wedding anniversary October 7th. 1 Mrs. Jaremco is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Josul of Elk Point. As a gift, Mrs. Josul presented them with a subscription to the St. Paul Journal.

Mr. Ralph Riemer and son Gregory spent the week-end in Edmonton where they attended the Can-Am races at Speedway Park.

Visiting at the home of Mr. Martin Loftus is his daughter of Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

The Elk Point Recreation Board held their first regular meeting on Monday, September 23rd. The Board consists of president Ray Hellquist, vice-president Des Berghofer, secretary Ed Pankiw, Wm. Milholland and councillor Oron Davis.
The Board's aim will be to implement and pursue a recreation program for the town of Elk Point. A survey form will be mailed in the near future to each householder which will help establish this program.
