AGT TELEPHONE
The A. G. T. Building in operation since August 1965, is not staffed;
it houses the equipment made necessary by conversion to direct dialing.
Residents of Elk Point and district can, since June 1977, dial any Heinsburg or St. Paul number toll free. The usual preface, No. 1, is no longer necessary when dialing any "943" or "645" number. The phones and lines in the Elk Point area are serviced from St. Paul
