ELK POINT HOMES LTD. 
Elk Point Homes was incorporated in February 1975 with Dr. Didow, president, Paul Stepa, secretary-treasurer; and directors Ed Soldan, Wm. Tokar, Horace Osinchuk and Gordon Kuhn. A few months later Gordon Kuhn sold his share to Steve Maksymec. The formation of this company was to promote the construction of new homes and make them available for people to purchase. We built four homes in our first year of operation and five homes the second year. We feel that we have succeeded in stimulating the home construction trade in Elk Point as to date there are at least four other Home Construction Companies operating in Elk Point and at least eighty homes have been built in the last three years.
