Feb-59 Mrs Pelechosky had been to a course on Civil Defense and was giving instruction at the Hospital. Dr Ross was to act as Civil Defense Director
Feb 25 1962 Civil Defense was discussed at the AGM
Sept 24 1962 Dr Ross to go to the Civil Defense Council
Dec 5 1963 Decided that Elk Point should stay on its own in a separate Civil Defense body. Jim Rylance taking a course in Radiology in Edmonton. 
Dec 30 1963 Dr Ross to continue as Civil Defense Director. Steve Ewanuik and Evelyn Soldan to be Co-ordinators
Aug 30 1965 Secretary instructed to write to Civil Defense Headquarters to ask someone to come to organize a Civil Defense Unit
Oct 18 1965 Marvin Bliss appointed Civil Defense Coordinator Note: During this period, Civil Defense Exercises were held
Oct 24 1966 Civil Defense meeting held in Legion Hall
Jan 30 1967 Civil Defense Course being held in town. $300 budgetted for Civil Defence Exercises
