The Ashmont - Mailliag water pipeline neared completion and construction meant that a fence was built on a buried trestle near Ashmont, a long time project of RRTS.
We completed a 3 year process with Husky Oil and the Province of Alberta leading to us taking over an 8 km old roadway from Tucker Lake to Crane Lake. With the completion of this disposition Riverland Recreational Trail Society (RRTS) became the operator of this trail.
We had some meetings with the MD of Bonnyville and adjacent landowners about planning for a Cold Lake Trestle Parking lot.
