The photo below was taken in 1928 by Cora Miller of many railroad workers near Elk Point. In the 1970s numerous local workers were identified. The place is identified near Dog Rump Creek near Raft Lake. Dog Rump Creek had a siding that extended across the creek to the large gravel pit west of the Golf Course.
