Helping hands speed Mural’s completion October 1988

MANY HANDS REACHED OUT - to assist with the completion of Elk Point’s 100 foot long historical mural. At left, the mural is given a gentle washing to remove any dust from the surface, while below, top to bottom, helpers erase pencil marks and paint in bottom landscaping -” — while the mural’ s creator Billie Milholland, adds the last few details to the parade, and other helpers apply the acrylic protective coating, while still others paint mouldings and frames. The Historical Society also has volunteers involved with the planning of the park where the mural will be erected.
